Five Fabulous Bikinis for Summer

Working day in and day out with swimsuits, I have come to know designers styles, cuts, and fabrics, like the back of my hand. I can usually tell a swimsuits designer by just a glance. Many have their signature taste. Spending countless hours in the closet surrounded by itty bitty bikinis may sound like a boring job, but I for one am obsessed. Growing up at the beach I spent every waking moment in the ocean and in a bikini, but was only aware of the “surf brands” such as Roxy, Rip Curl, Billabong, etc. Low and behold there are thousands of designers, that this job has opened my eyes to. It is hard after seeing upwards of 10,000 swimsuits, to find some that stand out and I would personally love to have in my swimsuit stash, but the impossible has happened. Here are my top 5 picks for this summer’s beach days.

1. Lolli Swim Bow Bikini

I am sorry but what is cuter than a bow on your butt…nothing. I happen to now own one, and I never thought my bottom would look so good. It shows the perfect amount of cheek without being trashy, and it sure to make the guys do a double take! You can order your own pair here  – Lolli Bow Bottom

2. Mikoh Sunset Looped Bandeau Top & Velzyland Tie Side Bottom

Will my chest look like this model’s, probably not. However, I am still in love with this whole look and am going to splurge on this bikini. The top provides an interesting design compared to many typical bandeau tops on the market (ahem Victoria’s Secret), and the bottom, while it may lead to some interesting tan lines, shows skin in all the right places. This is one of my must haves for summer. Now I just need to order the model’s boobs and I will be good to go! Pick up this bikini here – Mikoh Swimwear

3. Mikoh Banyans Racer Back Top & Lanai Loop Side Bottoms

Once again, I am obsessed with the interesting design of this suit.  From the front it looks like your average bikini top, from behind it is anything but. It provides great support, while being chic. I love how the back is not your typical racerback style, the designers Oleema & Kalani did something different, and that is what draws me to this suit! I can see myself on a beach sipping a fancy cocktail in this suit, or playing in the ocean because of the functionality it provides. Order yours here – Mikoh Swimwear

4. 6 Shore Road Kiyana Halter One Piece

If I were to wear this suit on the beach in Jersey I would probably get made fun of. This would not be the case if I were on a vacation in say Miami. The edge & sex appeal of this suit is wonderful. Although this is not a bikini, this “fun-piece” as my boss MJ Day calls them, is super fun and sexy at the same time. That plunging neckline, those cutouts, what else could you ask for! It will definitely be head turner by the pool or at the beach. I think you should go order one here – Kiyana Halter One Piece

5. Zinke Kristen Ruffle Bandeau & Gidget Hipsters

I LOVE RUFFLES…the end. This suit is so girly and cute! I am the most girly girl on the face of planet earth. I love pink, bows, ruffles, and lace. This suit is super flattering on a fuller bust because it provides adequate coverage and support. Even with the full coverage, something about the delicate ruffles makes it sexy in a girl next door way, and who can say no to pastels. I love mismatched suits, so the plain top with the geometric print bottom gives it some flare. If you want to be girly on the beach this summer pick up this suit here – Ruffle Suit , it will not disappoint!

Hope this post inspires you to start planning for summer! I know I am already counting down the days 🙂
